Happy Thanksgiving/Turkey Day everyone for those that celebrate it! Still working through some things, but it's getting better. Gonna take the rest of November off on streaming/video stuff and work on making the transition from this channel to the new one. Wish you all safe travels and that this holiday week is a good recovery time!

Hey everyone, there won't be a stream today due to some personal circumstances (i.e. celebrating a family member's birthday, dealing with some mental and physical health matters as well). Gonna try to get something out (that isn't a stream broadcast upload) this coming week and stream next Sunday to continue more Mario & Luigi that I didn't get to on my own.
There will be good news down the line, but gotta work through the rough stuff to get to it. Until then, take care and stay chill!

Apologies for the third stream not showing up on YouTube. Apparently Restream wasn't having any of it yesterday and I think I am going to officially drop Restream for good now, sticking to Twitch once more. I will upload that video later today or tomorrow However, I also plan to take Mario & Luigi stuff differently. I am going to record my playthrough with the mic on and kind of detail my progress before my streams with a condensed version of it (but I will upload the full raw versions as unlisted videos that will be connected to the public upload). It'll be kind of like a way of establishing some structure for the videos that I plan to do for the new channel down the line.
I appreciate all of you putting up with this crazy ride as of late for this channel and the streaming only strategy isn't going to be the future, just so you know. I was trying it out to understand my feelings about it and to be honestly, it's not me. I don't think I'm really getting what I want out of the video making process by streaming all the time. Sure, it's easy and it can be quick to turn around content for folks to take in, but if there's one thing that is VERY important to the video making process: the editing. If you watched Sakurai's last official video on his channel, it appears that all of that work was done in advance, all planned and the key note about it is how much insane amounts of money was geared towards the editing process.
As a result, I think with the new channel, I'm going to have to make changes on how I record and put together the videos. I think the old way I've been doing things (record about 20+ minutes of footage, make cuts here and there and then upload the footage) is going to have to change in a way. It's not efficient OR exactly effective either. So expect videos to cover games completely, or cover sections of longer games (i.e. JRPGs, because I like them a ton). These next videos coming up (That WILL include SMA4's final part as well, don't worry) is going to be my attempt to establishing a new norm. So really hope that you all will bare with me a little and this channel a bit longer before the transition from the old to the new will begin. It's been a pretty long week and certainly one that's going to be taking the backseat for the moment. Going to be talking about Mario & Luigi: Brothership at 1 PM EDT today, tomorrow and Sunday this weekend! I have only played about 30 or so minutes of it to get an idea of what the gameplay might end up going and get an idea of the story's beginnings. Thankfully, the game is pretty quick in establishing some framework, but there are things that I saw that I want to discuss! Either way, it looks like it'll be a good escape for the time being! Hey everyone, going to be giving Restream another shot today. I'll be streaming at 1 PM ET, so no need to pile up on Twitch if you don't want to do so. I'll be trying to get the second of the Portrait of Ruin streams (Going to do something different with this upload) and FINALLY get the last few parts of Super Mario Advance 4 up and running. I'm mainly looking to have this election season be over with and the increased insanity behind all of us.
All the more reason to look forward to the end of the week and to play up some Mario & Luigi: Brothership! If you're looking forward to it as well, feel free to share your thoughts and feelings on it and the series as a whole. While Nintendo may not have been at their best this year with some of their policies, I am very surprised and ecstatic that we got THREE Mario RPGs (two remasters/remakes of the best two games of their respective series and one NEW game). I really hope that Brothership matches up with the hype!

Hey everyone, I'll be uploading the streams that I had last week of Portrait of Ruin onto this channel to keep with that sort of content. Also, I'll be streaming again on Sunday 1 PM, hopefully getting through or very close to the end of that game. And then next weekend, November 7th starting on Friday and every day of that weekend at the same, I'll be doing some Mario & Luigi: Brothership, a game I've been incredibly hyped every since hearing about it! I will figure out the times for those three days The game has been looking pretty promising from what I've seen and considering that I've streamed two Mario RPGs from start to finish before (I'll need to also upload Paper Mario and Mario RPG streams onto the channel as well), it wouldn't hurt to make that one of the last big hurrahs before making that transition to the new channel.

Thanks for the astounding amount of votes everyone! I really do appreciate you speaking up for the game you wanted to see the most and it looks like it won by a 91% out of 50+ votes! Unfortunately, my attempts to stream it today have been a massive bust due to technical difficulties, mainly tied to the internet connection being absolutely awful for me today. Pretty frustrated by it all, but I think one plan that I have in mind is that I'll be able to stream on Thursday (3 PM ET) AND Sunday (12 PM ET) this coming week.
Also, I'm going to be sticking to Twitch and cancelling my Restream subscription. It sucks, but I feel that I am a little more entwined to Twitch when it comes to streaming and it's a bit more comfortable for me. I think what I'll do is certainly put up a community post before the stream starts and when it's back to the usual Sunday shenanigans, I'll use that same post to share what is expected next week. Sorry for those that attempted to watch the stream today and got a mess of mangled footage. Here's hoping that it'll be better later on this week. I'll be figuring out on my end if there's anything that I can do to fix things. In the meantime, take care and stay safe!

Thank you very much for the responses with that announcement video and especially those that have shared their thoughts and feelings on the matter. I think while there has been some sadness tied to my decision, I also feel like there is a sense of letting go the negativity that I had regarding video creation and streaming. I will be working on the Super Mario Advance 4 video and at the same time, streaming every Sunday at 12 PM until the end of the year (with some exceptions coming up).
This one is choice for you all, and while it might SEEM lopsided, they're all great games in their own right. But which game would you like me to play next during the stream? Make your choice below and share some background behind it if you'd like

Hello everyone, for those aren't aware, I have an announcement to share with you all. For those that have already seen, I really appreciate your time! It's honestly been something in the mix for a while, but after releasing the video, I feel a big weight has kind of been pushed off of my shoulders. I will plan to ask any questions that you might have and I definitely want to keep you all in the loop.
