I don't understand, how you could be on a black hair channel, questioning someone on why they use protective styles? Protective styling, routine maintenance like washes and deep conditioning/moisturizing routines, will all contribute to producing healthier hair that in turn will become stronger and less succeptible to breakage. Trimming split ends is also necessary but depends on the individual on how often they trim💪🏾♥️♥️
