The nightmare scenario is Carney wins the Liberal leadership and Jagmeet folds like a carpet to his demands. Jagmeet does what he always does and goes against his word, supports the Carney Liberals, and then they work together to amend the Election Act to delay the next election to the constitutional maximum of fall 2026.
When I first heard a Liberal crackpot confidentally spit this off in an X Spaces some time ago, I laughed. But now, seeing how the Liberals continue to free fall in the polls...
Coming back from prorogation, the parliamentary slate will be wiped clean. There will be an opportunity for the NDP to work with the Liberals again.
We need to talk about this seriously and rationally. Factually, Trudeau's government has been the most authoritarian Canadian government in our lifetime. They have passed and tried to pass the most draconian laws against rights and freedoms in generations. They have promoted censorship as a reasonable response to civil disagreement. They have banned hunting weapons that are not used in crime. They have taken and taken and taken from Canadians. They used the Emergencies Actâthe closest thing to martial law in Canadaâfor the first time ever.
They have framed Pierre and the Conservatives as a mortal threat to "our democracy." One could argue they're already making steps towards justifying this extraordinary move.
This delay in democracy would not help the Liberals. It would make things much worse for them. The Liberals and the NDP would lose party status when we finally did have an election. But it would also make things much, much worse for Canada. The Liberals have shown themselves to be desperate for power no matter the cost.

How do you feel about Alberta premier Danielle Smith going down to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump?

I'm never going to forget what the government did to us during Covid. I'm never going to forget the pleasure some Canadians took in isolating and torturing their fellow citizens for a false sense of superiority and power. These are Trudeau's people. They are a small, fringe minority with unacceptable views.
Canada will begin healing our massive wounds after the perpetrator, Trudeau, is decisively defeated in an election.
272 - 18
Some people need to hear thisâit's over. Trudeau has a wildly unpopular minority government. The majority of Canadians want an election.
Every day that this charade goes on severely damages our country. It's time for an election.
173 - 11
If Trudeau runs again, the Liberals will be lucky to win 20 seats. Trudeau's supporters are a small, fringe minorty with unacceptable views. Bet on it.
Stop being cowards and call a damn election! Let us show you what Canada really thinks.

What an absolute disaster Trudeau has made of our country. I truly despise him for it.
Heâs ripped open the regionalist wounds of our country and destroyed our national identity. Our country may not survive the damage heâs done.
I truly love our whole country for all of its faults and flaws. Yet the flames of division are burning so hot that when I say I want to fix Canada, our home, people come charging in screaming that itâs time to destroy it.
Destroying things rarely makes anything better. I will never forgive Trudeau and his government for doing this to us. He played the politics of division for cheap points. He divided people based on their beliefs, their medical decisions, their gender, their race, and where they live in Canada. Anything he could use to turn us against each other as long as it would get him even a little more support.
And now division is here stay and might end up ripping our country apart. F Trudeau!

I want to say to each and every one of you that I appreciate you. I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a great time with your friends and family. This is one of the most special times of the year because we all slow down and realize what's importantâthe people around us.
The people around me in my life have been nothing short of exceptional. There's been a lot of changes in my life over the last number of years and some big losses, like the passing of my dad last New Years eve. I think about dad often and I know he'a proud of me.
I am very excited about the future. I don't know exactly what it will be but I am full of hope for it. I pray you feel the same hope in your life and that you are happy, warm, and well fed! Things are tough in our country right now, but they will get better. Our resilience and strength make us who we are as Canadians.
We will endure. We will thrive. We will reconnect and reignite the flames of our country.
With glowing hearts, Merry Christmas.
God keep our land glorious and free.

BREAKING: Pierre Poilievre has asked the Governor General to recall Parliament before the end of the year for a confidence vote.
Poilievre says the government has lost the confidence of the House; Jagmeet Singh said earlier today he would vote to BRING DOWN the government in the next sitting. Let's see if he does it before his gold plated pension comes in!
This is brilliant strategy by Pierre. Every time Singh says something, Poilievre holds him to it, and when he doesn't follow through he looks like a liar. Make no mistake about itâJagmeet's empty words are costing the NDP severely. The NDP is panicking about ending up like the Liberals (totally crushed) in the next election.
That's why Singh finally said he'll vote no confidence. They're tanking in the polls and probably have some pretty nasty internal metrics. And as soon as Singh said it, here's Poilievre with the followup to hold him to it. Awesome.
Now we find out if this is more empty words from Singh and the NDP or if this will be the best Christmas present Canada has gotten in a reaaaallly long time.

Whoâs surprised that the CBC is filing dubious copyright claims against Northern Perspective, Pleb and others? Iâm not. They have to pay those year end executive bonuses somehow!
These are the death throes of a desperate organization.
This is on top of the horrendous hit pieces the CBC put out recently. Noteworthy examples include their fake news Coutts documentaryâwhich told a twisted narrative, their fake news documentary on growing âpolitical violenceââwhich was actually an attempt to villainize citizen journalism and criticism of MPs and also completely failed to mention the actual political violence in this country, like when citizen journalist Chris Dacey was beaten and robbed by black bloc thugs at a pride event in May of this year, and a fake news article on Tamara Lich and Chris Barber that heavily featured Antifa losers.
When I confronted Justin Trudeau the other day with the basic truth that he has no integrity, that he is not the king, that he has failed Canada and Canadians, and that it is time for an electionâCBC news personalities felt the need to say â⌠I do not know who was shouting those questions butâŚâ Rosmary Barton interjected ânot a journalist!â and the original commentator continuedââbut Iâm going to go out on a limb and say it wasnât a member of the Parliamentary Press Gallery.â
They were so confident in that assessment because members of their special little club grovel on their knees for Liberals and pretend that Canada is business as usual. And they have been grovelling for far, far, far too long. Their kneepads are tired and worn.
It's not business as usual in Canada! The government reluctantly admitted to Canadiansâafter an âembargoâ on the MANDATORY publication of the Fall Economic Statementâ that the government blew past their already unacceptable $40 billion deficit to a jaw dropping $62 billion dollar deficit.
The finance minister Chrystia Freeland resigned from cabinet after Trudeau tried to throw her under the bus before this bad news broke. Sean Fraser, considered by many to be the next Liberal leader, abruptly walked away from politics right before Freeland left cabinet.
Minister after minister has left Trudeau. Everyone can see the writing on the wall except Trudeau and his friends in the media who propped him up well past his expiry date
Canada is a disaster. It has been a disaster for years. Canadians soundly reject the Liberals in by-election after by-election across the country. The majority of Canadians want an election NOW.
The price of food is unaffordable. Canadians can't afford their rent and their mortgages. Wages are pitiful compared to our extraordinary cost of living. Hospital and medical care is failing citizens and taking way too long. Our roads and infrastructure are falling way behind the rest of the developed world. Per capita GDP, Canadians are doing worse than the rest of the G7.
But hey, it's not so bad! Record food bank usage and strain? Homeless encampments everywhere? Out of control crime and drug use? Abject poverty?
Pfft. Forget about all that. Just take former finance minister Chrystia Freeland's advice and cancel your Disney Plus subscription. That should fix the "vibecession" stopping you from taking care of your family and living a good life. What a joke!
Some of these concerns are provincial purviews with federal failures causing the issues â mainly the insane level of immigration Canada takes in. We have no hope of accommodating these peopleâmore than 1 million a year in a country of 40 odd million. Thereâs nowhere for them to live. There isnât enough jobs. There isnât enough healthcare. There isnât enough services. The math just doesnât add up. There is too many people coming in!
The CBC has often remained silent or has not done their job properly as the publicly funded press concerning the critical federal issue of immigration that has caused a large portion of the issues in this countryâamong other issues they played press lightly with or ignored altogether. These include the nonsensical carbon tax, massive grants for partisan organizations that get lost in black holes of unaccountability and extremism, and scandal after scandal of grave public concern. But when former Conservative Bev Oda ordered a $16 glass of orange juice in 2011 they were all over it.
They have much less to say about the outlandish costs of Trudeau and friendsâ accommodations, dinners, drinks, and gifts that total in the many, many, many thousands-millions of dollars. And when they do talk about it, itâs nowhere close to the fervor with which they attacked the $16 orange juice. Iâll be clearâall government lavishness is disgustingâbut at least pretend youâre not friends with the red team.
No one in our so-called press has honestly held our out of control government accountable for anything. I told Justin Trudeau what he needed to hear.
THE PRESS HAS FAILED. The CBC is right about one thing thoughâI am glad I am not part of their club.
I remember the other day as I was outside the Liberal holiday party in the freezing cold for hours to report on the story, the privileged PR press of this country was inside warm and probably enjoying the finest wine and cheeses. It made me think of those Christmas movies where the peasants watch the rich people party it up in their mansions from the cold street while regular people suffer and starve.
I have one question for the CBC. No federal minority government in Canadian history has ever finished a full term (except one weird exception that doesn't really count). Why should Trudeau's OBJECTIVELY TERRIBLE government be the first? They are actively harming our country and our quality of life.
The time for ASKING if the prime minister will resign is OVER. It's time to DEMAND he resign and call an election. That is the democratic and responsible thing to do.
The difference between me and those CBC commentators is when Canadians finally have their voices heard and Trudeau is out of office, these people who said Iâm not a journalist will no longer be relevant. I will be.
The CBC should not be allowed to use taxpayer dollars to harass citizen journalists and media personalitiesâwho are their fastest growing competitors. It goes without saying that defunding the CBC needs to be a day one objective for the Conservative government.
DEFUND THE CBC!
