Life in Germany has been amazing for me so far! I can finally get out of my house whenever I want, and I don’t feel the pressure of 70+ neighbors hating my existence. I live right in front of a river, and the bus ride to the city only takes seven minutes!
Con: Expensive
One of the main reasons I tried to stay in Turkey was because of how cheap everything was. I could afford a big two-bedroom apartment, throw anything I saw at the supermarket into my cart without checking the price, and have as much takeout as I wanted. This cost me just $700 every month. But in Germany, $700 will only get you a tiny apartment and a diet consisting of instant ramen and tears.
Pro: Variety
I think leaving the comforts of Canada when I was so young made the variety available in the tiny town I was living in look very sad. Now, every time I go to a supermarket here, I get a bit too excited. I was dragging my boyfriend around, pointing at everything like a kid in a candy store while saying, “OMG, LOOK HOW MANY TYPES OF… THERE ARE!” (When I saw the coffee aisle, my wallet fainted.)
Pro: Happiness
Every time I left Turkey for a short vacation, no matter how happy I was, the thought of having to return to my nightmare life in a few days would always lurk in the back of my mind. But not anymore! I get to go outside whenever I want! And there are sooo many places to go to when I get bored at home :,) My favorites are the libraries, the bookstores and the coffee shops inside of malls.
No more garbage routine of: wake up, force myself to animate, game, go to sleep.

How much would you be willing to pay to help me feed stray cats?
Some of you have been asking me to enable memberships to help support my channel better! For the second tier I wanted to make sth for the stray cats in my area. I always pay for a lot of kibble and keep it in my bike, in case I come across a stray cat. So this is TECHNICALLY still supporting me but you get to help cats too as a bonus!

Thanks to some awesome people, I found out that you CAN report it but only under the "frauds and scams". Not the "pretending to be someone" category.
