Welcome to the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources FNR channel! It is our mission to partner with federal, state, and private organizations to develop and disseminate knowledge in the natural resource sciences associated with the protection, management, and sustainable use of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems; the fish, wildlife, water, and timber resources they produce; and the ecological, recreational, and esthetic benefits they provide.
We are a vibrant and growing department, offering undergraduate degrees in four majors: Forestry, Aquatic Sciences, Wildlife, and Sustainable Biomaterials: Process and Product Design. Our talented faculty and professional staff is the base of FNR's success. The FNR graduate program offers Master of Science, Master of Science in Forestry, and Doctor of Philosophy in all of these focal areas.
