Dr Mark Prince OBE developed a burning desire to support young people embroiled in a downward spiral of urban violence after his own personal challenges (homelessness, drugs, alcohol abuse, criminal activity) triumphs and tragedy. The devastating tragedy of his son’s murder in 2006 led to the Kiyan Prince Foundation being established in 2008. This marked the beginning of a journey which has transformed Dr Prince’s life equipping him with knowledge & skills to support families. He has had to defeat two of life’s toughest challenges - anger & revenge A professional boxer and Britain’s no.1 light-weight champion (1997), World Boxing Organisation (WBO) No1 contender in the world by 1998, Dr Prince has invaluable skills & experiences that help in the development and transformation of people’s lives. In recognition of the significant contribution to the community and fight against knife crime, Dr. Prince has received several awards, recently receiving an OBE
