This is a fun and creative way to add more details to your paintings, or add extra layers to existing photos.
I started using this technique for sharing ideas with other artists. I had so much fun with it that before I knew it I was adding extra layers to some of my older paintings. It wasn't too long after that, I started creating full blown digital paintings using only my phone and stylus.
I'm hoping with this tutorial you too find creative ways to make your own casual digital art by enhancing some of your previous paintings or maybe create an entirely new piece, all on your down time using your phone.
I use a Samsung S21 (stylus sold separately) and the standard app that comes with the phone. I select the "write on screen" option to add to an existing image or "notes" to create an entirely new and all digital painting.
There are also other creative apps out there available for download that allow you to add extra effects to your art.
But if anything this is fun and creative way to tune your artistic skills when away from your art supplies. ;) 🎨 🖼 enjoy.
