Pia Pounds is a Ugandan singer-songwriter and performer of Afrobeat music, born on 8th November 1996. She released her first EP TUPAATE in 2020 with one of its singles ‘Tupaate” topping African music charts for weeks including iTunes. Tupaate went ahead and featured on Netflix’s Young, Famous and African making her the first female Recording artiste to have a Netflix feature. Among her other hits include, Bitimba, Wakikuba, Taala and now currently WANTING ME.
