It's fascinating how YouTube bringing this community stuff back to the masses feels "fresh," somehow. Yet it used to be that we were all posting on each other's channels like it was MySpace. We even had DMs! You could add each other! Crazy stuff.
I made friends here that have lasted for 15 years, which seems unthinkable looking at the YouTube of the last... 10 years or so. God, how old are we? Have you seen my walker?
Attached below for, good measure, is this channel in 2010. It was very green. We could do fully custom backgrounds for a while there to make channels our own! Not the feature I miss the most, but it was cool.
