Shipping Forecast is a British based post-rock project with one aim, to speak the truth.
The Shipping Forecast was formed in early 2023. The idea, to create a safe space to release the music of my heart. Gone was the pressure to be cool, gone was the need to feel relevant, instead, the desire to be true shone through. This quickly snowballed into the plan to release new music every 6 weeks.
Combining the sounds of post rock with the emo scene of my teenage years, I began to craft the sound of the Shipping Forecast.
A one man project, with a little help from his crazy talented (backing vocalist/ photographer/ videographer/ emotional-support unit) girlfriend. We hope you enjoy our music, it's a lot of work doing it on your own, but we wouldn’t change it for the world, all we’d ask is you join us on our journey.
