Its been a while since I last posted anything but I had to share this. My boy got himself a Michigan Trophy buck on our property during the Liberty Hunt Sunday September 15th. 13-Pointer (cant see all the points in the photos). Super proud dad!! and Sal was beside himself. :)

The goal is to clean up and replant the area with hayseed/clover blend and build a 2 acre pasture for our horse and 2 pony's. New to farm life. Started heating our home with an outdoor wood boiler in the winter of 2021. Hope to show that maintaining a small farm with horses, ponies, cats, logging and heating with a wood boiler is possible. It might even be easy enough that this city kid can do it.
Come and learn with me, learn with us, as we learn how to live in the country. Laugh at me as I am truly learning as I go. Figure it out as needed and learn from it for the next time. I hope to learn from this community as well. I am sure many of you are more qualified and better than I, but we'll get through it together.
