Betrayal and a Crushed Heart Taught me This:
āBut Jesus, for His part, did not entrust Himself to them, because He knew all people [and understood the superficiality and fickleness of human nature],ā Jn. 2:24.
In 2017, God told me this but I didnāt take it seriously. Then two of my closest friends betrayed me and that shook me to my core. For 4 nights i wept all through the nights, confused and perplexed. I could not understand how anyone would do what both of them did to me. In my heart, they were my own blood.
It was then I remembered that Word God gave me early in that year (2017).
Jesus was smart in not entrusting Himself to people. We would save ourselves from mental illness and heartbreak if we do what He did.
