The stage may be empty, and the spotlight dimmed, but true legends never fade. They ascend into eternity, where time and space dissolve, leaving behind their legacy as an everlasting echo in the hearts of those who

Ustad Jiâs music was never just music âit was the language of the souls of billions , the pulse of a generation, and a bridge between the mortal and divine.
Even as the world falls silent, the heavens resound with his melodies. For every beat of his tabla, every note of his creation, continues to dance in a space where applause never ends and where every listener becomes eternal.
We, who were fortunate to live in his era, carry forward his spirit. Though the sun may set, the light of his artistry lives on in the students, followers, and dreamers who refuse to let the silence win. Let his work inspire us to create, to persevere, and to believe that artâreal artâtranscends everything.

It is impossible to accept this realityâthat I will never see him in person again. Ustad Ji was more than a musician; he was a guide, a friend, a philosopher, and a part of my very being. His presence felt eternal, something I believed would outlast even my final breath.
His sudden departure leaves a silence I cannot fill, a void I cannot describe. Yet, his music, his wisdom, and his spirit remain with us, echoing in every note and every memory we hold close.
While we grapple with what we have lost, let us bow our heads and honor the worldâs legendâUstad Zakir Hussain. He may have left this earth, but his legacy will resonate forever.

Confirmed Zakir Bhai , five Grammy winner Padma Vibhushan Ratna of Bharatiya Shashtriya Sangeet, Ustad Zakir Hussain departed for heaven at California time 3:42 Pm yesterday at San Francisco Hospital.
His family confirmed.
