Upgraded my '77 Fender Twin Reverb with a Jensen C12K and a back panel to make it semi-closed back! The back panel makes the amp more percussive sounding and makes the upper-mids more prominent. The C12K is more sensitive and dynamic compared to the previous speaker I was using (which was a good speaker already).
Speakers in the amp are now the C12K and the Warehouse ET-65.
With these two mods I seem to be able to get more of a Texas tone as well as an even more Jimi-esque tone (remember Jimi's speaker cabs were closed back). I haven't been able to crank the volume yet, but as soon as the lockdown is over I will go to the studio and do some more videos with it... see you soon. Peace :)

NEW VIDEOS coming very soon!!!! A big thank you to all my subscribers for waiting so patiently for new videos since I've been away. A lot of you have been wondering what's happened to me. Well, basically, three years ago I moved to a new house which is quite small so I can't really record there, so I decided to take a break from music and learn to drive so that I could go to a studio to record my YouTube videos (and play as loud as I want!). I have now finally got a car and have booked a studio for 16th October to record new videos, which I will start uploading as soon as they're edited. I hope you enjoy them... Peace!

New camera and toothpicks arrived today... preparations are being made for new pearlblues videos! While I've been away I've been rebuilding and upgrading my pedals, amps and guitars so look out for more Hendrix, SRV, blues and gospel videos coming soon... Peace, PB :)
