George Mason Assistant Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Marvin Lewis visits with Collegiate Sports Associate Steph Garcia Cichosz to reflect on his first full year leading the Patriots. He shared insight into strategies he used to establish a culture and effective communications at Mason. Lewis also discussed the importance of establishing clarity as a leader: “I try to just be really clear on what our expectations are, be really clear about our value system and how we make decisions and create systems that reinforce that clarity and promote people following and developing the culture we aspire to have."
