It's been about a year since I got diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis. It's been hard adjusting to my new lifestyle, I've changed my diet, been very consistently going to the gym, prioritizing self care, and just generally simplifying and going slow in life. My body can't handle doing near as much as I used too (that was probably part of what got me in this mess hah) and that's been the hardest adjustment. I feel good enough to tackle everything somedays, but doing too much sets me back for days. It's been a process saying no to myself, to a lot of good, fun and interesting paths I'd like to explore to more fully enjoy and focus on only the most important. I've got a long way to go still but I'm feeling good. Still trying to figure out a system to make costumes and videos still, with being the primary caretaker of my child and no school this summer I've been kept busy and can't work late into the night from just being too tired. I'm changing medication right now too, so maybe that'll help me feel even better! I'll figure something out in time, keep embracing your inner beast!

A reflection on my 2023 accomplishments:
-Released two new patterns
-Published four YouTube videos, and 5 shorts
-Finally got a diagnosis+started treatment for Ankylosing Spondylitis
-Started going to the gym and yoga 6 days a week and I'm finally proud of my body
-Started regularly cold plunging
-Finished a separate Fume Room for casting and painting in my Lair
-Made some major improvements to Hogger (video coming soon)
It's been quite the ride this year, especially with the major lifestyle changes I've had to make to fight against my autoimmune condition. In 2024 I want to work on continuing in my health routine, and setting up a good routine so I can accomplish my goals in my art. Like setting up systems so I can more effortlessly create.

I've been spending the last month upgrading Hogger! I'm on my way to Blizzcon now and will make a video after about what I did.
Photo is the last test fit at home before leaving and there was a lot of his costume bits that I finished/changed before leaving!
