UNPOPULAR OPINION: Pokémon Scarlet & Violet are the best games in the whole series. Despite the terrible graphics, the lags, the bugs etc. they have the best story, Pokemon and mechanics ever. They’re so immersive and enjoyable you forget all the problems.
Just 100% completed the Indigo Disk on my Violet copy at 160~ hrs played, and I’ll miss this game so much. I also just hit 1,000 different pokemon species for my Living Form Dex I’m building on Pokemon Home, and it feels great. Getting closer and closer to my goal of catching them all.
Still not sure what to play next. Probably Shield on my second Swith Lite so I can trade with myself on my main Sword save file. Or maybe some 3DS games if I can find any at my local retro game shop.
