These videos chronicle the adventures of Dethan Sirius ("Mastway's August Spirit") born on 03 June 2011 in Lee, New Hampshire, USA.
The name "Dethan" is derived from the Vietnamese words "Đế," meaning "Grand, August, Lordly" and "Thần" meaning "Heavenly Spirit." It is a tribute to Dethan's predecessors, Grand the Black Newfoundland and Bergen Augustus the Landseer Newfoundland. Dethan's first and middle names also reference the date on which he joined his human pack, 12 August 2011:
+ Đế, for the homographic month (August), and
+ Sirius, for the star (also known as the Dog Star and Alpha Canis Majoris), which on that day returned as the brightest star in the night sky.
