I built a life-size mannequin of 'David' from The Lost Boys movie (1987). The trench coat is screen accurate and was very hard to find. It is a WWII era US Navy 'Clothcraft' tailored by Joseph & Feiss. The medal is a Legion de Honour of France that was issued between 1870 and WWII. The brass buttons - one on bottom left is a 'Spectemur Agendo', and the top right is a Salzburg Crest. The head came from a silicone bust I bought last year. I bought the mannequin which is a standard shop display one, I cut the neck off it, and the bust fit right over it perfectly. The leather jacket was on eBay second hand, I roughed up the edges of the lapels to weather it like his is in the movie.

The new Box Set from Subhumans, containing 6 of the albums from the 1980s, and the E.P. from the 1990s called Unfinished Business which the band released when they re-formed. Also comes with a 52 page booklet of lyric notes, diary notes etc., a turntable slip mat, and a large fold-out poster with the band's formation tree on it.

It's Xmas day, and a great Xmas film to watch has always (for me) been The Great Escape. Here's a clip of a movie that has an escape scene, called Sewers Of Gold. It stars Ian McShane - he of Lovejoy fame, and a great flick he was in called Sexy Beast.
