Richard P. Kennedy, a 20-year hospitality industry veteran, was named executive chef of the 304-room Hilton Short Hills hotel in New Jersey in 2007, responsible for managing a staff of 85 and all food-and-beverage operations including restaurants, lounge, banquets, catering, events and in-room and spa dining.
He oversees The Dining Room, the hotel's full-service signature restaurant, which was reinvented for the hotel's 25th anniversary in 2013. He also is responsible for food service at the hotel's popular casual restaurant, The Terrace, as well as the Retreat Lounge and seasonal Patio grill.
