Wanted to share some exciting updates regarding my October 2024 videos:

- October 12th = Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban GC-to-GBA link video. This is the final Harry Potter linkable game in the series... and it might be the most polished. And in case you were wondering, yes, owl poop is involved.

-October 19th = don't want to spoil it here, but I made a video on what might be one of the greatest handheld gaming Easter Eggs of all time. Took me a while to make this video and I think it is easily one of the least-known secrets in all of gaming. Please look forward to this one. There is very little documentation on this topic so my video might be the most detailed.

-October 26th = I made a video on what are probably the two most unique Gameboy Color games of all time. Thanks to Patreon supporter Chris, he sent me a very special, mint, Japanese exclusive game that cannot truly be emulated. Really excited about this one too. Again, don't want to fully spoil it here but please look forward to it. I even took a fancy-smanshee photo for its banner image too. You'll know it when you see it.

Then, regarding the last couple months of the year, I am aiming to cover another link-related topic. I've already started work on this next series and hope to debut the first episode, probably, sometime in November. This has been something I've wanted to cover since the early 2000s and now I finally have the means to do so. Again, there is very little documentation on this particular topic.

Finally, in case you didn't know, I've been running a website called www.mygamer.com for 20+ years.
In addition to my video work here on YouTube, I also review newly released games. Instead of focusing on AAA games that get a million reviews from every outlet on the internet, I cover those neglected smaller, indie games that get released on the Switch eShop, Xbox Marketplace, and PS Store each week.
My personal blog is squallsnake.com/ if you wanted to follow/support me there too. In other words, if I am not making videos about games, I am constantly writing about them too. And I usually give away 2+ game codes each week on my Twitter/X if you follow me there too.

Until next time, thank you for watching and game on!

Hey everyone! Just want to say big thanks to everyone who has subscribed and continue to watch my videos. Know that you have my thanks and appreciation.

Been working hard on my next episodes and just thought I would provide some insight as to what is coming next.

•GC-to-GBA Link - Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (got several requests for this one), 9-14-24
•GC-to-GBA Link - Pokemon Channel, 9-21-24
•Enable The Link Cable - Space Invaders (GB), 9-28-24
•Enable The Link Cable - Road Rash (GBC), 10-5-24

It is still a little early to leak anything yet, but I am already in the pre-stages of the next batch of cool, unique, obscure gaming stuff. I am excited because there is little to no coverage/documentation for what is coming next so please look forward to it.

If you want to support my work, my Patreon, PayPal, and other contact links are available in my profile.
Big shout out to Patreon supporter Anapan for sending me the Gameboy Micro link cable items and a second NGPC so I could make those link cable videos. And another massive shout out to subscriber Chris who sent me tons of stuff directly from Japan (videos incoming on this stuff coming later this year). So honored and appreciated.

Until next time, thank you for watching and game on!

If you have not watched already, the first video in my Gamecube-to-GBA Link video series is now live!

Please look forward to a new video covering this neglected topic each Saturday morning.

These videos take a ton of time and energy since I basically have to record 3x footage: Gamecube capture, GBA on actually GBA handheld hardware, then I send the GBA content to a second Gamecube and record off a Gameboy Player to get clean GBA footage - all on actually hardware. No emulation (even though most emulators do not support this, let alone have a stable/reliable connection).

The next episode will debut this Saturday Dec. 30th and will feature Metroid Prime, followed by the Gameboy Player, Billy Hatcher, Crash Bandicoot WoC, Fire Emblem, and more each Saturday through mid-Feb (at the time of this post, with more to come). I actually already covered the Wario games, the Nintendo Preview Disc, and Mario Kart DD bonus disc many months ago and have those added to my GC-to-GBA playlist.

From my research, no one has covered this topic in any detail other than the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Zelda Four Swords, and Pac-Man Vs - the games that require the Cube-to-GBA Link cable. In total, there are about 60 games that support this feature. Will try and cover as many as possible.

If you wish to support my work or reach out, contact links are found on my About page: youtube.com/@ZackGaz/about

Until next time, thank you for watching and GAME ON!

Starting early 2024, I am excited to debut a new video series here on my channel!

To date, I've covered:
-every GBA Single-Pak linkable game with its own video + Top 10 compilations.
-explored the secret features of the Super Gameboy (all multiplayer games, interesting facts, hidden animations).
-covered all GBC Rumble Pak cartridges
-made a video about all Gameboy games that use the Rumble feature when played through a Gameboy Player.
-documented all original Gameboy games that support that 4-player link adapter.
-been covering the neglected multiplayer link cable modes in original GB and GBC games in my Enable the Link Cable playlist.
-numerous Analogue Pocket videos: DS Rumble Pak support, how to use a Link Cable when docked, alternative storage cases, and more.

The first video in this new series will launch Saturday Dec. 23, 2023 and new videos will post each Saturday afterward, just like my cadence for the last couple years. So keep your eye out for this new series on Saturday mornings... with my usual streams and Shorts posted in-between. I already posted a couple videos on this next topic, one that really no one has documented with any sort of detail, and excited to reveal more soon.

I plan on making more Enable The Link Cable videos in the future, but will be temporarily putting it aside for this new series. As a hint, yes, a Gameboy will be involved! (Feel free to comment with a guess if you'd like.)

Thank you for watching and game on!

On October 30, 2021, I posted my first Gameboy Advance Single-Pak Link video, releasing 1-3 videos per week since then.

After countless hours I've dedicated to this obscure topic, I am happy (and exhausted) to report that my final GBA Single-Pak multiplayer video will be posted at the end of May 2023, about 20 months since I started this extensive project. There are over 100 GBA games that support this feature and I have covered every single one with a dedicated video and blog post.

Here is my remaining Single-Pak video release schedule on this special topic:

-Simple 2960 Tomodachi Series Vol. 3: The Itsudemo Puzzle, May 5th
-Simple 2960 Tomodachi Series Vol. 1: The Table Game Collection, May 9th
-Robopon 2 Cross & Ring Version, May 14th
-Sonic Battle, May 19th
-Famista Advance, May 22nd
-Mario Party Advance, May 27th

I hope you look forward to these final videos. They unfortunately have not received the Views that I would have liked so please share if you wanted to show support. From my research, I am the only source on the internet that has covered this underappreciated handheld feature with any sort of detail so I hope passionate and curious fans were able to learn with me along the way.

You have my thanks if you watched any of these videos, left a comment, and gave a thumbs-up. These positive comments have keep me going all this time.

All of my GBA multi-boot videos are found here in my dedicated Playlist:
www.youtube.com/playlist?list...

And here is my blog post about every GBA Single-Pak Linkable game (best viewed using a PC since there is a ton of content on one page): squallsnake.com/blog-gba-single-pak-multiplayer-ga…

Thanks for watching! And until next time, game on!

ASKING FOR HELP:
Sonic Battle is one of the final GBA Single-Pak link games that I need to cover. However, the single player campaign needs to be cleared to unlock these multiplayer mini-games (and ain’t nobody got time for that).
Does anyone have a completed Sonic Battle save file they can share? I’m having trouble installing one on my EverDrive because Sonic Battle uses .fla file types.
I tried some GameShark/Action Replay saves but they are not compatible with an EverDrive. I even tried patching the rom to be compatible .srm and converted downloadable save files but no luck.

One year ago today I uploaded my first GBA Single-Pak link video. In this time I managed to cover 60+ games that made use of this under-appreciated feature.

I have had a passion for the GBA since it first launched and was always fascinated with the “1 Game Pak, 4 Players” multiplayer option. It has been fun learning about this obscure topic.

I wanted to show my appreciation towards anyone who has watched my videos, subscribed, and gave a Thumbs up. Thank you. Please look forward to the next one and be sure to share my Single-Pak playlist with anyone who might be interested in learning more.

Working on my next obscure gaming video. Really excited about this one. Don't want to leak too much right now but here is a little teaser. Hope it is well liked and eye-opening.
