A little behind-the-scenes pic of my webcam unboxing vid recordings. That microphone cable was just about long enough!
The shoe box was necessary to get enough height for my phone because the tripod I use is partly broken and can't be extended anymore.
And of course the games to get the mic to the right height. ๐

I hate that I've had no time for new YouTube vids recently... ๐ but real life has been acting cray-zay lately! ๐ต But! Today I finally found time to do some recordings again. Yaaaay! I continued my Tell Me Why playthrough, and also recorded the intro & outro for the highlights of August compilation. Hope it won't take me too long to get the editing done. ๐

My webcam unboxing video from three years ago surpassed 1000 total views recently! ๐ฎ Only my second vid to reach that milestone, and I'm not sure any other of my vids will ever reach those numbers. Thank you very much to all viewers! ๐งก
It was also my first ever video with my voice in it! ๐ And it contains footage of my first "real" Twitch stream too (I had done some game footage only streams without any mic or camera before but consider that my Twitch beginning).
Have to say though that I would actually NOT recommend the C270 anymore simply for the fact how outdated it feels by today's webcam standards. Colors are very pale, it can only do 720p when most content these days is 1080p or higher, it has a set focus (making it impossible to record anything close-up or further away), ... I'm still using it for now because of budget limitations but a new webcam is at the very top of my list for improving my streaming & recording setup. Hopefully soon! ๐

I used to always take the pictures of me for my YouTube thumbnails in front of my curtain because it acted like a green screen to make background removal super easy. But I recently rearranged my furniture and now there are some shelves in front of the curtains. ๐ I hope Adobe Express (which I use for background removal) will still be able to do a good automatic job. ๐ค

I recorded part 5 of our Tell Me Why let's play today. ๐ It was so damn emotional this time! ๐ฅน Hope it won't take me too long to get the editing done. And if you don't own the game yet but would like to play, it's available for free until the end of the month on both Steam and Xbox!

Yesterday was my YouTube anniversary! ๐ฅณ On June 3rd three years ago I uploaded my first video here. Doesn't feel that long ago at all! ๐ฎ And I'm so glad I decided to just start doing stuff back then, both on YouTube & Twitch, instead of keeping saying "I should, I will, I might someday..." Even though I didn't really have a concept for my content yet back then (other than "gaming stuff") and zero video editing experience. ๐

Found some time to finally record Part 4 of our new let's play today. Didn't I say hopefully Tell Me Why will go a bit faster than Snatcher? ๐ But I've been on a general hiatus recently (no Twitch live streams either) due to lots of IRL duties and stuff. I should have more time again for both YouTube & Twitch soon. And I'll try not to take too long to finish editing this new video! ๐
