I started playing Anglo Concertina back in 2020, but I had experience playing Piano & Accordion before starting. Since there's not a whole lot of Concertina players on YouTube, I thought it'd be fun to push myself to learn through recording, along with helping to inspire others to play the instrument!
I play a 30 button New Swan Anglo Concertina. For anyone wanting to start playing the instrument, I recommend looking through retailers on Amazon. Although they come in many different sizes, I recommend going for a 30 button, since they'll give you the note range to play pretty much every tone in 2 octaves. Also, make sure not to go too cheap in price, else the sound quality or bellows (the middle part you push/pull) might not be very good.
Unfortunately I learn and arrange mainly by ear, so for most pieces I don't have sheet music to give out. Someday I'd like to start writing up sheet music to help others, but I'm not the best at music theory myself so it's very time consuming...
