GAME OVER! It's been a good run for MajorOSC and ApertureSoundLab, but they're both closed down. This channel will stick around however. AlphaCodeSynth's youtube channel will also remain.
Direct any inquiries regarding existing purchases or MajorOSC patch banks to info@majorosc.com - For anyone curious to see what I did with the few years I'd taken off of music in the mid 20-teens, have a look at the oldest videos on this channel, now listed as public. ;)

I have a fairly significant announcement to make. I'm calling it quits for a while to focus on kids and a new, more stable career path. It has been a crazy 4+ years of doing full time sound design and audio/video production. I created MajorOSC and kicked off a lucrative website that still operates today. A few years after creating MajorOSC, I was hired on as Modal's lead sound designer and producer. The Wife and I buy our first home after the first year with modal. I build a basement studio of my dreams. I branch out further and created the hybrid alias / website ApertureSoundLab with AlphaCodeSynth. Much of 2022 felt like a vacation. But all good things comes to an end at some point. 2023 brings about drastic change. I've sold off almost everything the past few months, and I officially resigned from Modal Electronics in early January, as they're not able to afford paying me (Out of respect for the company I won't comment further as to the outlook of the company). I took on a tech support role for a luxury bath company headquartered in my home town last October. I'm very happy here. I'm spending much more time with my kids after work. I won't be doing much more sound design for the foreseeable future, as I feel it's better to be focusing on raising my kids. I still have my beloved SP16 toraiz, and a Numa X GT piano in the mancave for casual playing and to keep the performance chops up a bit. And...Maybe later this year I make one last hydrasynth patch bank. - Just need to borrow a Hydrasynth again from Paul Schilling lol. It has been a pleasure meeting new people, fellow sound designers, musicians, producers, and synth enthusiasts. I hope I've been able to help you along in your journey in one way or another. Thank you for your support. This isn't officially goodbye. The channel will remain open. I'll just be a bit more busy with living the family guy life.

MajorOSC hit 1000 subs recently. Thank you for the support. Hard at work making presets, tutorials, and a few comedy bits.
