Topic Question: What cold music takes do you have, how cold is it and why?
There's nothing wrong with agreeing with everyone else. Someone has their personal reasons for liking/hating the popular thing whether it's the circumstances that they listen to the song/artist or what their friends liked.
Maybe it vibes with you or inspired you to do/dream something big.
I also want to know, out of a rating of 1-10, how cold this take is considered because to some degree, some people might think it's overrated/mid or have gotten fatigued over it. Is this opinion unpopular in some circles/communities? What reasons could that be?

Due to overplay, you might hate it, but listen on your own terms and you find out that the song is actually good. Maybe there's a song that isn't enjoyable listening by yourself, but more fun with others.

What separates the Porter Robinsons from the AJRs?
This is a thought I've been having because Porter Robinson and the Met brothers both make music from the heart, but one is mostly beloved by the music community but the other is widely hated. As shown in the meme below, they've both made songs about facing self-doubt and I enjoy both of these songs, but the reason I used this format is due to how I see the perception of these two artists from the wider music enjoyers (Not a dig at people, they're entitled to their opinions).
I want to know what people think is the difference between the two and why they think that's the case. Mostly because I'm inspired by these two artists for being themselves but I feel a bit self-conscious and fear that I might get the infamy AJR gets for their work (Thanks Brad).
I wonder what exactly I can gather from these two that I can use for my own art one day and I want to get a second opinion on how to approach making art from the heart. I also want to know how people would approach writing from the heart if they ever decide to create something.
Does it have to do something with the song composition or the deepness of the lyrics through metaphors? How does one avoid the pitfalls that people rag on AJR for? Should it really matter?
Serious answers only. I want to know the fine details of how people understand the differences and learn more about it.

This was inspired by the Wilbur Soot situation that happened a while ago, so it's interesting to see how people would handle the separating the art from the artist and/or how they handle liking the person but hating their art and vice versa.
On a scale of 1-10 How much do you like the artists and how much do you like their music? Please explain why you think so, which of the 4 categories you would put these artists in and use full sentences instead of one word. Do you like/hate their personality? Actions? How does it affect your enjoyment of their music? Do you respect their efforts or do you think they could have done better?
