Established 30 years ago, RIPIN is a 501(c)3 non-profit that helps thousands of Rhode Islanders every year turn challenging situations into opportunities to advocate for themselves and their loved ones.
RIPIN’s mission is to assist individuals, parents, families, and children to achieve their goals for health, education, and socio-economic well-being by providing information, training, education, support, and advocacy for person/family-centered care and system change.
RIPIN’s programs and services are rooted in the peer-to-peer model of support, education, and empowerment, where a RIPIN peer with personal experience assists others as a mentor, advocate, and motivator.
