She Makes War was the solo project of multi-instrumentalist producer and visual artist Laura Kidd from 2009-2019.
After releasing four studio albums - "Disarm" (2010), "Little Battles" (2012), "Direction Of Travel" (2016) and "Brace For Impact" (2018) - plus several live albums and EPs and a final eight song collection "And Peace" (2019), she launched new project Penfriend in May 2020 with accompanying creativity podcast Attention Engineer.
