A bit of behind the scenes work and a bit more going on than usual, so no video this week.
I did however get this to cooperate in some game dev tutorial I'm working through. It's cool to see how it comes together when you add the animation and progress bar.
Have a great weekend.

I am considering creating some videos about game development stuff as I dive into that. I have debated whether I should start posting them here or a different channel. Would you be interested in videos focused more on game development and game dev logs? Maybe even some game dev tutorials.

No video this week. I am aiming to ramp up production soon and start hitting 2 videos a week for a while.
I recently booked my flight and hotel to attend Southeast Linuxfext. Anyone else going? If so, let me know, maybe we can say hi there.

Hi all, as you may have noticed, I have been experimenting with video styles, particularly when it comes to editing. I want to be able to make these videos more engaging. Please let me know know what you think of these as we go!
For videos where I try to focus more on teaching on-screen, I really want to have a project in mind. This gives me a goal to works towards and y'all an idea of what I'm actually trying to accomplish. I can stop to explain things as I go, but especially with broader topics, it can be very difficult without a specific project in mind.
I have also been debating the return of background music at least at certain points in videos.
My latest, I tried somethings in this one, some of which I think worked out ok, others which I will need to think on:

QOTD: What of these topics would you have found most helpful as a beginner?
No video this week, it's been a bit of a long one for me. Instead I am working on scripting a video for the Linus for Beginners series and playing around with a new distro and plan to have a video on that.
Also need to play with some programming projects. Still should be a pretty busy weekend.

I still intend to post a video this weekend, just may be a little later today or tomorrow. In the meantime, what are some questions you had as a beginner with Linux? I want to really focus in on some beginner content this year to be a better resource for those getting into Linux.
And a poll, because why not. Which of the videos below would you have found most useful as a beginner to Linux?

Hi all, no video this week. Had some rolling black outs this morning. Power went out either just as I sat down to try to edit or just got started editing like 3 times.
I'll be scheduling a video to go out next weekend so I can try to be a little ahead.
QOTD: What would you most like to see added content wise as we go into 2023? Some of the options have a question attached to them, so please comment with the answer to that.
Just curious what type of content would be of most interest to the group!
Merry Christmas.
