Meanwhile, I’m a freelance writer developing a manuscript on the alternative Arabic music culture around Amman, Jordan for general audiences. You can find my writing in Damn Mag and the August 2024 issue of This Week in Palestine. My Ph.D. is in Ethnomusicology - the study of culture through music.
