Iām going to try to hire a car over the New Year for a week, I have some time off from work and want to make the most of it as it gives me the opportunity to travel further afield within Thailand and hopefully tick off a few places I have in mind that I have wanted to vlog for a long time now.

Iām currently on a quick visit making some content in Cambodia. I have spent a lot of time here from the mid-90ās and itās great to be back.
I now have loads of new content to edit from Thailand, Laos and Cambodia and itās going to be my top priority for Karlās Thailand to catch up on it all when I get back to Thailand next week.

Iāve had some (positive) things going on in my life recently that have distracted me away from the channel temporarily. My next video is already uploaded and will go live at 1pm Thai time on Saturday, 22nd June. I wanted to put it out that day because the next day is the 6th anniversary of the start of the famous Thailand Tham Luang cave rescue. Hopefully there might be a surge of interest. Itās a good video and I need the views.
Basically I go deeper into the cave than has been allowed since the rescue. The exploration was lead by a Thai Navy SEAL who actually helped in the rescue. Apart from being a great adventure in itself it provided me and hopefully you with a few little insights into the rescue mission that only those who were there can give. āMā also gave me access to some rescue clips from his own collection. I think itās a lot more āhands onā than most of the rescue documentaries out there and will give you a better FEEL for what was involved.

Iām in the process of going through my videos and creating some playlists for your convenience.
I now have over 3 years of content some of which is rarely watched these days which is a shame because it's still relevant. Anyway I am creating the playlists under different topics and geographical areas.
If you want to know which videos give me the most satisfaction as a content creator then thereās a āBest of Karlās Thailandā which includes my all time Favourites including when I interviewed the National Park Ranger who fought a wild tiger with his bare hands for over 20 minutes as well as my own wild tiger encounters and pictures from the past. If you havenāt seen it you really should!

First off itās great to be back after my channel was hijacked. Apologies to you all for any unwanted content that appeared in your feeds because of the hijacking, obviously it was out of my control. Thanks for your concern and support, it is appreciated.
Onwards and upwards. āŖ@BangkokPatā¬ has told me that one of the collaborations I did with him recently will be posted on his channel very soon. He sent me a quick preview of one section and I was very impressed. I canāt wait to see the complete video.

Itās been a long journey for me, my videos donāt often have very searchable destinations in the titles which makes discovery more difficult but I have stuck to my guns in trying to make the kind of content that I want to make rather than āJust doing what worksā which worksā¦but can lead to everyone doing the same things. I also have an aversion to deliberately pulling funny faces for thumbnails lol.
Anyway, interest is growing in Karlās Thailand and I have some good content coming up soon as well as the collaboration(s) I recently did with āŖ@BangkokPatā¬ . I will have another video up later today.
People say 10,000 subscribers is an important milestone, well it certainly looks more encouraging when you check your stats at the start of the day.
