PSA: check your bike chains regularly.
Had the bike on the stand for a totally different issue and wanted to clean the drivetrain as well. Had to drop by the bike shop for new chain instead.

A day out with my son was cut short when his derailleur hanger snapped on the downhill.
Luckily I had the right tools with me to turn his MTB into a big push bike and complete the trail that way. Gravity FTW 😁
