Hey Dingle Days fam! Disney and I have embarked on a brand-new adventure together - we’ve enrolled in the AKC FitDog Level 1 class!
🐾💪🏽This 6-week journey is not just a commitment to our physical health but also a step towards achieving something remarkable together. By completing this class, we’ll be eligible to earn 3 points (Category A) towards the prestigious AKC FitDog Bronze (Novice) Title. 🏅
This initiative, which launched in January 2023, is all about promoting fitness and well-being among our canine companions, proving that the mantra “New year, new you” isn’t just for humans anymore; it’s gone to the dogs too! 🐶✨
I’ll be documenting our progress, challenges, and triumphs on the Dingle Days YouTube channel, giving you an insider look at our journey towards better health and the FitDog title. 🎆 Hey Dingle Days fam! As New Year’s Eve approaches, let’s ensure our furry friends have a stress-free night while we ring in 2024. Here are my top tips to keep your dog safe and serene amidst the celebrations. 🐶✨
1️⃣ Home Sweet Home: Avoid taking your dog to public fireworks displays. The loud noises can be overwhelming, making home the safest place for them.
2️⃣ Comfort Zone: Make sure your dog has a cozy spot indoors where they feel secure. If they’re used to being outside, at least know their whereabouts.
3️⃣ Chill Vibes: Keep the atmosphere calm with soothing music or their favorite pet-friendly show. It’s all about maintaining a relaxing routine.
4️⃣ Exercise Overload: A tired dog is a calm dog. Go for that long walk or run to ensure they’re more interested in resting than reacting to the noise.
5️⃣ Lead by Example: Stay cool and collected. Your dog looks to you for cues, so show them there’s nothing to worry about.
