My name is Shonna Abell, the founder of Abell2MoveFitness, a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach.
I started out just like you watching and following videos on YouTube 8 years ago. I enjoyed the workout structure so much that I became a CPT because I believe knowledge is power. I have worked out in some form or another my whole life, but this is the first time that I have stayed consistent and have an understanding of what it takes to see results. What I found is that variety is key, from different exercise modalities (dumbbells, stability balls, benches, etc.) to different genres (HIIT, circuit training, aerobics, etc.) along with proper nutrition (lean protein, healthy fats, complex carbs). This is what keeps me motivated and consistent, which is essential to success and longevity. It's not just about the muscles, which is a bonus of your hard work, but about your health, preventable diseases, and staying injury free.
