Omar Doom, though widely recognized for his iconic roles in Tarantino films like Inglourious Basterds, was a musician long before stepping into acting. His passion for music led to STRAIGHT RAZOR, a project that blends darkwave, techno, and EBM.
After a set of singles and remixes, STRAIGHT RAZOR Vol. 1 EP was released in 2021, and Vol. 2 in 2022, establishing his unique, dark sound. In 2023, he launched record label DOOM VISION with STRAIGHT RAZOR – REMIXED, featuring Gost, Corvad, Moris Blak, Nightcrawler, Destryur, and ESA.Doom Vision then released DESTRYUR’s acclaimed album Dimensions, featuring “UNDER YOUR SKIN” and “TERRIFY”
STRAIGHT RAZOR’s momentum continued into 2024 with the August 16 release of “The Curse,” the 1st single/music video from his upcoming album Casualty.On Sep 27, the 2nd single, “Casualty,” was released. The 3rd, “Black Smoke Rising,” released on October 25. Doom will unveil his full-length album Casualty Dec 13, 2024, with release party/live show in LA Dec 15.
