Dr. Robert R. Cargill is Roger A. Hornsby Associate Professor in the Classics at The University of Iowa and Editor of Bible & Archaeology. He is a biblical studies scholar, archaeologist, classicist, author, and digital humanist. On this channel, Dr. Cargill discusses the archaeology of the lands of the Bible, Mesopotamia and Southwestern Asia, the text the Hebrew Bible, Christian New Testament, Pseudepigrapha, Apocrypha, Dead Sea Scrolls, Targums, and other things of interest to him.
