Dati kasi, puro lang grind, kulang sa panalangin.
Indeed, it is FAITH over fear. It is when you accept that you can't do anything without HIM, saka palang papasok ang blessing.
For the past 3 months, struggle talaga. Pero salamat sa Tita ko sa pagkupkop sakin. Di rin naman halatang nagstruggle bagkus lalong tumaba, kasi nagprovide padin si Lord ng pang araw-araw na pagkain.
Di ko naman sinasabing nagtagumpay na'ko, kasi eto nga't nagsisimula palang ulit sa ground zero. Pero ang tiyak na maipagmamalaki ko ay ang kalakasan ni Hesus nung mga panahong hinang-hina ako.
Kaya kung sakali man na ako ay magtagumpay, palagi ko paring babalikan yung mga hirap na pinagdaanan sa buhay. Para may reminder ako na si Hesus lang ang tanging dahilan kung pano ako naka-survive, tapos para may legacy din akong maiwan pag ako ay na-unalive 🤧

Nicotine-Free Journey: Day 3
It’s tough. Every moment, the cravings sneak back.
Yesterday, I thought I’d lost my appetite, but I was wrong. Now that I’m not smoking, I’m constantly searching for something to eat—anything to distract me from the urge to puff. It’s crazy how much cigarettes had a hold on me.
But here’s the good part: I’m not alone on this journey. I’ll share more details on Day 7, but for now, I’m taking things one day at a time.
I’ve started walking earlier in the evening to tire myself out, so I can sleep without cravings haunting me. I’m even hoping to wake up early enough to squeeze in another walk before dawn.
That’s it for today. Here’s the verse I held onto to get through:
"Three times I begged the Lord to take it away. Each time he said, 'My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.' So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me."
—2 Corinthians 12:8-9
