My love for cooking was a gift from my father at an early age. I recall the fragrant aromas and familiar sounds that filled the air and our house with love, mom often by his side. My cooking style is not generally by the book, but by taste. I'm a big believer in embellishing recipes, when able, to suit your taste. Similar to the way an artist would use brush strokes and colors to create a masterpiece on a blank canvas.
If asked what I love about cooking, it would be spices and cooking outside the lines. In my opinion, it's all about flavor!
