The most important aspect of a father daughter relationship is trust. Can they trust that you won’t use your strength and might as a Man to teach and mold them. I’ve failed at this so much it isn’t funny! It’s hard to not make your girls “tougher” most men only know tough love, but that’s not gonna do for these young queens. I’m learning, I’m growing... I love my girls enough to make changes. Your challenges as a parent and your journey in life is all one in the same. Mommy issues, daddy issues, anger issues, anxieties all have to be addressed if you want to be the best human for your kids.

Failure to do so will only great little humans with little pieces of your trauma. And it won’t happen over night but just keep working on you and you will slowly see the results in them. I’m working towards a healthy mind and body. We are our best selves when we are consistently working on those two things. My morning routine.....

1. Wake up approx 7AM and meditate for 10 minutes.
2. Workout: cardio for 30-45, run for 2 miles, or weights
3. Think about two things I accomplished the day before. Think about two things I genuinely appreciate in life.
4. Set two to three things I have to get done today.

Out of our 3 girls she is the most sensitive. Always expressing her feelings. She says “ but dad if you don’t give me cake that will make me cry” Walking around hugging and kissing everyone lol.
