Softkit was born in IvyClan to her mother, Icestar with her sister, Eeriekit. However, her mother was quite abusive to her kits. She never let them sleep with her(or the nursery), gave them a scar whenever they did wrong, and also hardly even looked at them as if they weren't her kits. Whenever a clanmate consulted Icestar about it, she simply said it was so she could "devote more time" to leading the clan. So after their apprenticeships, Softpaw and Eeriepaw decided to run away to go join BushClan. While crossing a thunderpath to get there, Eeriepaw was hit by a monster and died. Softpaw knew there was nothing she could do, so she had to continue alone. She was eventually accepted into BushClan by Ferretstar, where she would meet another apprentice named Charredpaw, who was two moons older than her. They spent much time together, and soon realized that the both of them weren't from the clan, as well as having tragic backstories(Charredpaw's I will share another time). When they were watching the sunset on some rocks near IvyClan territory however, Softpaw's mother found the two. She was furious with her daughter leaving her, so she scratched Softpaw's eye, making her half-blind. The two fled back to the camp, where Softpaw's eye was healed, but she would still be half blind for the rest of her life. Eventually they were both warriors: Softfeather and Charredtail. There was never a patrol where they weren't together, and they eventually became mates. Later on, when Charredtail was appointed deputy, the two went on a patrol and ended up finding an abandoned kit. They decided to take the kit in naming it Hazelkit. Before long, Charredstar had become leader, and around when he was at 2 lives(ill explain how he lost them so fast also another time), Softfeather had been expecting kits. When those kits were born, she named them Birchkit, Flamingkit, and Frostburnkit. Hazelskies was a new warrior at the time, and still loved interacting with her new sisters. When the kits reached about 5 moons old, Charredstar died, which put Softfeather in a downward spiral, but she knew that he was in StarClan, watching over her and her kits. When the kits were about 10 moons and were in apprenticehood, Softfeather was walking with them on patrol, when a group of rogues had attacked. Softfeather knew her kits had more life to spare, so she sacrificed herself at around 87 moons to save her kits. Before she died, she said that even if it may not seem like it, she and Charredstar would see them become great warriors, and that she'll see them again someday.
So yeah that kind of sums up her lore. Please keep in mind that this lore is subject to change and/or be improved. Don't worry, all of my ocs will eventually have lore revealed. The poll was just for whose lore I should reveal first(and i will continue to do polls for second, third, fourth, etc.)
