Deut. 20:18โIf any man has a stubborn and rebellious son who will not obey the voice of his father or of his mother, and when they reprimand and discipline him, he will not listen to them, 19then his father and mother shall take hold of him, and bring him out to the elders of his city and They shall say, โThis son of ours is stubborn and rebellious; he will not obey us, he is a glutton and a drunkard.โ 21Then all the men of his city shall stone him to death; so you shall remove the evil from among you, and all Israel will hear of it and be afraid. THIS SEEMS PRETTY ROUGH RIGHT?
REMOVE EVIL? It's evil to be stubborn, rebellious, live for your belly, and be a drunk? There is a reason it's evil, that's for sure. The evil? YOU EVANGELIZE your stubbornness, your rebellion, your gluttony and your drunkenness.
Everyone has heard story's about the Father who is a drunk and takes his whole house down. Or how about the movie WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE, where the mom is a food drunk. Bitter, angry, forsaken, unforgiving, but no clue how she's "done despite TO THE SPIRIT OF GRACE"... BY DOING what she knows she shouldn't do. Bitterness is more about damning others for the log in your own eye, and rebellion against understanding your own motives and intentions of heart that God brings us all face to face with. So anyone INACTIVE in keeping their own spirit right, and the meditation of their heart right in the SIGHT of the God who see's will have to get relief in something else than their own good conscience before God.
We chase the WINDS of VANITY, emptiness, and live for the lusts of the flesh, lusts of the eye and THE PRIDE OF LIFE, looking to get what we need from the praise of men. We all need praise, we were made to need it, it's just WHERE WE GET IT, that can be the problem. For HELL AND DESTRUCTION are NEVER FULL.... we can never get
enough of the praise and honor that comes from man to be ok. It's having A GOOD CONSCIENCE before a HOLY GOD, because we keep our heart and thoughts right, and don't BLAME GOD AND MAN for our problems, that we live a truly satisfied life. THE PERFECT PEACE OF GOD THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING. Not that we will BE PERFECT AND TOTALLY ACT PERFECT, but a perfect heart is one that is TEACHABLE. OPEN. HONEST. SINCERE.
THAT WE KEEP GETTING UP, AND KEEP RUNNING THE RACE, AND CARE MORE AND MORE WHO WE ARE ACTUALLY BEING in our HERE AND NOW times and space WITH PEOPLE. Wisdom IS RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE FACE of the one who HAS understanding. But the FOOL is looking everywhere else for greener grass. It's just trying to be faithful in the little things that makes us STRONG in the big things. WHO DOESN'T LOVE a kid who tries with all his heart. A player on a team who is playing with all his heart. It's doesn't matter if HE PLAYS A PERFECT GAME,
for ATTITUDE wins the day. PLEASING GOD by being "our brother's keeper". Souls saved and kept. THOSE WHO KEEP ABIDING IN LOVE, will live eternally WITH THE GOD OF LOVE. Jesus WILL GIVE US POWER from on High.
Rev.22 He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.โ So if we DON'T WANT to be bitter, BUT rather than FOLLOW peace and holiness with all men, WE WILL SEE THE SALVATION OF GOD. For our life, and life's test prove what we
love, being bitter, or being holy.

Fame in heaven comes by hearing & doing God's will. Gene could be famous for some things. It's been written in a Hollywood movie. He was a motorcycle jumper, heavy weight boxer & more. Gene's father is the subject of THE ODD COUPLE movie. His real Father Ernie Nevers has fame in 3 Professional Sports he invented the hook shot; Pitched to Babe Ruth; Saved the NFL & has the oldest 4 NFL records. Ernie was a first inductee to the NFL Hall of Fame. George Clooney made a movie; Leatherheads about him. Gene's GREATEST privilege is HEARING God's voice in his mind, & how life SAVING that has become instead of fists. Jesus will help us rise above offenses, grudges, bitterness, etc. if we really became a Christian to be Holy. We need Shepherd's that can feed us with understanding so ALL THINGS in our life work for good. We can know JESUS, & master satan, & be our brothers keeper. JESUS HAS ANSWERS to the tests we go through in life. So we can be famous for Loving Our Father & His Children.
