Roman Rudnytsky is an international, concert pianist of Ukrainian heritage who was born in NYC and grew up in Toms River, New Jersey.
Roman gave his first solo recital at age 7 and played the Greig Concerto in A minor with the Garden State Philharmonic at age 16. After attending Juilliard's prep division, Roman continued on to Juilliard from which he received both a Bachelor and Master's degree in piano performance.
Since then, he has performed in over 100 countries and on 70 plus cruise ships. He taught at the Indiana University School of Music in Bloomington, IN and did a one year Artist in Residency at The University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory in Ohio. He retired as Professor Emeritus, after 39 years on the piano and music faculty at the Dana School of Music of Youngstown State University in Ohio. He currently lives in Youngstown and continues to perform to this day through out the world.
