Sorry I wasn't able to go live last night. My plans wound up changing last minute and thus I didn't have time to stream. Oh well... not like anyone cares lol.

As some of you may have noticed, I did a live stream of Minecraft Java edition last night. If you all are interested, I am planning on streaming MC java again tonight around 7pm EST. Feel free to join if you're interested in any gameplay.
Btw, I know this is different content than what some of you are normally used to. Just to be clear, I will still do the old phone stuff as that has been what has generated views on the channel in the past. I am waiting on getting a few UScellular phones and recording the ringtones on them at some point, especially with the recent news that TDS is expected to sell some of UScellular's assets in the near future. I also have a couple of TracFones that I will record ringtones of at some point as well. The gameplay stuff is just experimental and it may or may not be here to stay on the channel, only time will tell.

Update: after some research on Reddit, it appears that UScellular may be leaving its 1xCDMA network operational for voice and text for a little longer, but its EVDO network was turned off at some point between December 31st and January 3rd. They are doing this until they complete rolling out LTE coverage to all of their licensed markets.

Apparently, up until recently, Verizon's CDMA network was still working normally in 2023, despite word that the cutoff date was set for 12/31/2022. However, as of this evening. the 1x/3G CDMA network finally shut down in my area at 12:23am EST on January 3, 2023. Some of my older phones still work, but they are roaming on UScellular's CDMA network, which will be decomissioned soon (they say 1/1/23, but just like Verizon, they still have yet to pull the plug). I will keep you all posted on any new developments.

My channel has 267 subs as of this writing (10/23/2022) and somehow I've been granted access to the community tab on YouTube. Another channel I have, with only 1 subscriber, does not have a community tab. Did YouTube update the community tab guidelines overnight?
