all the recent fandom drama is tiring and honestly? i don't think i even like the book series anymore

i've been thinking about remaking my "possibly in michigan" pmv, but i'm a little hesitant
i've realised the story i came up with for roseblaze is extremely similar to mapleshade, so i'm not really sure if i want to remake it when my oc could so easily be confused with a different character
