4 years ago today, we picked up our very own brand new Lotus Freelander 17โ6!
A few years before, we had Joshโs parents 2012 Lotus Sprint and we became hooked on caravanning - before that we kind of thought it was just for old people lol. We were obsessed with the Lotus brand as we tackled Cape York with a leaf spring van and didnโt break a thing, after that we couldnโt stop noticing the latest models on the road with the new front shape and dark colours!
2020 was a tough year for so many, but we kept our heads down, worked hard, basically emptied our bank account, put 20k on the home loan and was gifted some money from Mikaylaโs parents to bring the dream alive!
Not long after picking up our van we headed off travelling full time - and we havenโt looked back since!
Since then, we have purchased a brand new Lotus Trooper every single year and now proudly call them our full time home that allows us full location freedom which is what we are addicted to!
Dream big and never give up!

Whatโs up Melbourne!? ๐ช๐
We are stoked to be flying down to Melbourne today to hang out at the Melbourne Caravan and camping Leisurefest with the Lotus and freestylervs crew! We will be there Friday-Sunday!
This show is special for us as it was our first ever show we attended with Lotus 3 years ago and it was two weeks before we hit the road travelling full time and here we are!

We are BACK! Join us as we take on the high country in our brand new Ram TRX. Blue Rag Range track has been an iconic track on our list for ages, and we wanted to tick it off in the TRX and on the KTM 500. It turned out to be more of a mission than we thought, with Mikayla having to come and recover me lol.

A lot of this happened this week in Okinawa ๐๏ธ We just finished up a week and a half staying at the most beautiful places ever in Okinawa! We just landed in Osaka today for 4 nights, then off to Tokyo! ๐ฏ๐ต
We are loving the international travel and culture change, but I assure you we wonโt be changing our @ from travellingcampers to travellinghotels ๐คฃ๐คฃ
