ONE YEAR OF NEARLY STRAIGHT !!!!!
I actually can’t even fully describe what it feels like to be on a journey like this one. The last year has been filled with growth, connection, elevation and a brand new hunger to do it all again bigger and better. Since NS dropped my singer sisters @amindikfrost and @LolaYounggg took me on their tours & let me be my full self to open their show. Two of my favorite artists @babyrosemusic & @mickjenkins blessed me with verses on the deluxe. I flew to Berlin for the first time and sang my little heart out for @COLORSxSTUDIOS - a channel me and the homies used to sit on the couch and watch for hours. i headlined my FIRST show in LONDON????? soooo much more! so many “firsts”! this has been my favorite year of life :) I’m grateful beyond belief for the opportunity to speak my truth and be received as I have.
I wanted to say a little thank you by putting a few anniversary vinyls on my site. Limited quantity and I even slipped a little note in a few of em. I love being able to express, thank you for creating the space for me to do so. more music & more shows on the horizon but until then …

Ive always done this big theatric dance around my insecurities and self struggles. I’m quick to make everything a joke or push it down and pretend it doesn’t exist all together but i kind of just want to share myself with you now.
So here’s my uncomfortable attempt to be direct while I’m still growing and learning how to manage the things that have hurt me and let go of the things that continue to ✂️
I loved writing this project!! it was a new practice to let some of my performative nature subside and just be frank. life is weird and often hard to swallow but I won’t spend it guilty for feeling deeply! helllooo?? That’s what it’s all about :)
