What’s your favorite pair of MX boots?
I’ve found The Gaerne SG22’s have more feel of the bike, they are flexible and lightweight. I feel like they could better support you on those longer rides. They’re great boots and comfortable out of the box. They are incredibly easy to take on and off, the latches are probably the best in the market. I like how the soles are on the softer side, so they grip the foot pegs nicely. If I’m riding single track, I’ve been taking the Gaerne’s.
The Alpinestars Tech 10’s are solid, I tend to rely on their rigidity to help support me on longer rides. They are on the heavy side, and your feel of the foot controls are minimal. You definitely feel locked in and protected with the Tech 10’s, which is why I lean towards the Astars as my favorite. At least for racing.

Just got the suspension back from the MotoXperts. Had it revalved, and set up for desert/GP racing. Stoked to try it out tomorrow.

Had a blast at the Knolls Sprint Enduro this weekend. Placed 15th and 9th place. I’ve got a lot of work to be where I want to be, but looking forward to a great season. 120 miles of racing combined Saturday/Sunday! Total of 18 special tests.

Been testing suspension settings this week. I’m looking for a set up that can handle a variety of terrain without much adjustment. Suspension is like a black hole where you can always be adjusting things. I’m getting comfortable on the new bike and feeling ready for the 24’ season.
