We are excited to share the first ever livestream of a rattlesnake rookery, or communal birthing site. This technology allows people from around the world to watch rattlesnakes in real time and scientists to study their behaviors without disturbing them. Sometimes you will see no snakes because they are hiding in the crevices, and sometimes you will see them coiled up or passing through. When will the first pups be born? We are excited to find out with you. We hope that you will follow us on social media and alert us to interesting behaviors by tweeting @RattleCams with the date, time, and description, or by emailing us at ProjectRattleCam@gmail.com. Find out more about Project RattleCam, including how you can get involved as a community scientist, at our website rattlecam.org.
