George Nehme was born & raised amongst a family of musicians. At a young age, he got the chance to sing & work with Lebanese Icons Wadih El Safi, Fairuz & Ziad Rahbani.
He studied music at the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik & earned a Masters degree in Cinema.
In 2008, he formed his band & revived the concept of the lebanese musical band & many followed his footsteps.
He collaborated with international artists & has been part of many renowned festivals & concerts locally and abroad.
He has written music scores for many short films & composed with his sister Abeer Nehme the original tracks for the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.
He was also the director of the 2nd season of Ethnopholia, a documentary about ethnic music around the world.
He received a Murex d’Or for “Rising Lebanese Male Artist” in 2018.
He self produced all his musical releases & collaborated with household names such as Ziad Boutros, Hadi Charara, Georges Khabaz, Bilal El Zein, Nabil Abo Abdo & Mounir BouAssaf.
