Every musician who writes original material hears the tones for the instrument; rhythms, riffs, keys, melody, beats, drum riffs, bass lines and harmonies in their head before and during the writing process. During this process most of us already know what gear we’re gonna use or at least start with or chase.
Music is art in it’s purest form. It’s ever evolving. For the true musician the journey never ends. For me...it all starts with a riff.
