Fighting for the firearms rights of responsible disabled Americans. Disabled Americans have unique needs when exercising their 2nd Amendment rights
MANY responsible disabled Americans can ONLY use the AR-15 type rifle as it is easy to adjust for their own unique special needs. One of the founders of DAFR, Scott Ennis, uses a pistol grip stock and foregrip on most of his long arms. As he has a bleeding disorder called hemophilia. Hemophilia causes bleeding into the joints which over time hinders normal joint function. 40 years of bleeding into his joints, particularly the elbows has limited him to be unable to completely turn his hand over to grip the forend of the rifle tightly for accurate control. With a pistol grip and vertical foregrip a person with certain disabilities can hold their hand in a vertical position which allows the better and safer usage of the firearm. To call that an assault weapon option is just INSANE!
SCOTT IS NOT THE ONLY DISABLED AMERICAN IN THIS POSITION
